WELCOME.

I am an enthusiastic and all-round scientist with a slightly unhealthy obsession for DNA, microbiology and technology. I hold a PhD in Bioscience Engineering and did a postdoc in microbial multi-omics at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany.

Currently I am leading a University of Antwerp spin-off company ImmuneWatch, wherein we want to accelerate the development of T-cell based diagnostic tools and therapies. Besides that I co-founded a company with my brother, Kultured, which allows people to recreate the amazing flavours of fermented foods in their own kitchens.
