Digital data can be stored on the hard drive of your laptop and smartphone, in the cloud, on a USB drive or a CD-ROM. A few years ago a new data carrier was added to this list: DNA. Although storing DNA is still expensive today, it is already possible to store digital files (and thus also text) on this fantastic molecule!
